I just counted out of curiosity
56 free patterns really is quite a lot

there should be something for everyone
and it will take some time to work through all of them
lots of fun for almost nothing
you still have to pay for the materials, of course

and the items are really beautiful, nothing like some bargain-bin scrap mash-up.
I wouldn’t have thought that so many free patterns would come together
but sellers are apparently more generous than I thought :)

I was perhaps a bit naive at first
I somehow thought the free patterns were only there for the launch of Crazypatterns
but new ones keep being added all the time
so no one can complain
that “everything always has to cost (so much) money”
I read along on Crazypatterns’ Facebook page now and then, so that’s how I noticed

well, I wish everyone happy crafting and continued enjoyment creating patterns
 

Can you really just take or download them like that, or is there a (hidden) catch? A hidden obligation to buy, a “get one free, buy two” deal, or a paid subscription?

you can download the free patterns with no obligation to buy. The pattern might note that you’re only allowed to make the project for personal use. But other than that, nothing happens!

Hello Eulchen :) I think that’s entirely up to you. The sellers are just happy to get some feedback on their work in the forum, or a review (stars) and a comment on their listing. There’s also a thread about this here in the forum:
