Isn’t this little kitten cute? If you already have a bit of experience with crocheting, you can make it (as shown in the picture on the left) using teddy yarn. That way, it turns out really fluffy and soft, and you can’t even tell that the little creature was crocheted. You’ll find tips for working easily with this yarn in the pattern.

For beginners, I recommend starting with “regular” yarn (e.g., Bravo by Schachenmayr). The kitten will turn out just as cute (picture on the right) and isn’t hard to crochet at all, since you only need to work single crochet stitches and each round is described in detail.

The kitten will be about 20 cm tall.

You can find the crochet pattern for the kitten here!

Small gifts keep friendships alive!

Often, it only takes a little something to bring someone great joy, especially when it’s a personal, handmade gift into which you’ve invested a lot of time and love. You don’t have to spend much money to do this, because you can crochet many things from leftover yarn.

Here are 3 examples:

Bookworms will love this unique dragon bookmark, which you can crochet using two different colors of leftover yarn.

A heart is a way to express affection and closeness. This little heart measures only about 11 x 11 cm. The two little bears are holding hands, symbolizing their bond. Here, too, leftover yarn is all you need to crochet it.

You can also bring great joy to children with a project made from leftover yarn. Little dolls always need something new to wear. And little girls love mermaids. Why not dress the doll up as a mermaid for a change? Of course, you can buy a fishtail like this, but a hand-crocheted one in the doll mom’s favorite colors is so much nicer! And if you like glitter and bling, you can use glittery yarn or decorate the tail with sequins or rhinestones. The doll’s mom can even help out with that.

Triangle Scarf Tania
Lightweight scarf for the transitional season

-- to the pattern --

This triangle scarf combines the advantages of a scarf and a shawl in one accessory and is a real eye-catcher.

The pattern is, as always, richly illustrated and explains step by step how you can crochet this triangle scarf yourself - even as an ambitious beginner with good basic skills. For advanced crocheters, there is also a crochet chart.

The scarf shown is 220 cm long and approx. 25 cm deep. A 4-ply yarn cake, 150 g (50% cotton, 50% polyacrylic - yardage approx. 190 m/50 g), was used.

The mowi heel is legendary, because even sock-knitting skeptics can manage it with ease. Another thing that makes it easier here is knitting with 3 needles. In the pattern, all the steps are clearly explained, in 4 different sizes. That way, you can surprise the whole family with new socks for Christmas.

This round collar is a really wonderful beginner project and is very popular now in autumn. It keeps your neck and nape nice and warm. The pattern is optimized for beginners and written without abbreviations.

The best thing is to knit several of them in different colors right away. A collar like this also makes a great gift and is sure to bring joy.

A little children’s dress that grows with them for a long time—that’s every knitting grandma’s or mother’s dream. This pinafore dress can transform, so it fits from 1.5 to about 5 years. It’s also easy to knit and seamless. A perfect gift, not only for Christmas.
