Glass or mug coasters

All made from fabric scraps and needlepoint canvas I had lying around, sewn with gradient yarn; the hexagons have a side length of about 5.5 cm

Good morning—I’ve never seen sewing thread like this before, where the color changes along the length. I think it’s really great. I sew hearts every now and then when I have enough wool scraps left over to stuff them. It would go really well with my old jeans fabric.

You’ve both conjured up some lovely items from those little fabric scraps. This just goes to show that you can create beautiful things even from scraps. Thank you so much for sharing and for the inspiration.
