I’m new here, too

Hi,
I also stumbled across "crazypatterns" today. It’s a great site.
I’ll briefly introduce myself, too. I’m 52 years old, married, have a daughter, a grandchild, lots of pets, and of all the hobbies I enjoy, knitting is my favorite. Especially socks in all shapes and patterns. They work up nice and quickly and are always popular.
Right now, I’m trying my hand at a lace triangular shawl with an English pattern. Thanks to the internet, you can find good translations of knitting terms, so it’s manageable.
Of course, I also find it very hard to walk past yarn shops and magazine shops. And even though you can never knit everything you’d like to, because time, money, and closet space are either lacking or already full, you can never have enough patterns.
I found some here. Even some great free patterns. I also like the funny crocheted figures.

The only things still missing are extra time or extra hands ;-).
