The Rainbow Unicorn



The unicorn can hang in the window or outside on a bush in the driveway. You can use it to decorate a door wreath or simply hang it up so it can spin merrily.

Star Money Wreath
The poor Star Money girl trudges through the dark fairy-tale forest. She is wearing only a little shirt and is terribly cold. But when she comes to a clearing, the stars fall from the sky and rain down on her as silver coins.

But who is that?
Witch Hand Puppet
Wobbly Tooth the witch is also a resident of the fairy-tale forest. Hidden behind a thick tree, she has been watching the girl. Her eyes sparkle greedily, because she wants to steal the silver coins.

But she hasn’t reckoned with Violetta the unicorn!
Unicorn Violetta
Violetta is the girl’s protector! She steps into the clearing beside her, the girl swings herself onto the unicorn’s back, and then they both ride away like the wind, toward the stars. And the wicked witch is left empty-handed!

I crocheted it with Schachenmayr Catania Originals and a size 3 hook.
You should know chain stitches, slip stitches, and double crochet.
The pattern is written, illustrated, and of course includes the chart.
