When do you start with Christmas?

Dear users, dear designers,
when do you get started on your handmade projects for Christmas?

Well, I’m enjoying the summer right now. It’s not until it gets cooler in the fall—around September—that Christmas starts to cross my mind. Of course, some handmade items require some lead time. But I’m taking it easy—after all, there’s still half a year to go.

I’m already in full swing. The first 5 Christmas gifts are done. But I’ve always been like that. What I’ve got, I’ve got 😀

For me, I start thinking about it around mid- to late November—that Christmas is coming up. Before then, I don’t have the time or the mental bandwidth for it.

For the first time, I’m getting started unusually early and am currently knitting little Advent socks.

Luckily, almost any color works for the Christmas season and is no longer limited to a specific color selection like it used to be.
