Crop pants are back in style

but now they’re called “cropped” pants, just like crop tops.
I’d actually hoped the trend would stay in the ’80s, but that’s how fashion works—everything comes back around. This time, they’re even dressed up with high heels.  :)

The upside is that you can cut off a bit more from old jeans with frayed hems and wear them again. Upcycling, recycling, or whatever you want to call it. It’s definitely a nice look for summer, and if you have pretty ankles, it’s sure to look good. But I don’t think it’s such a hit in winter.

Have you gone cropped yet?

For heaven’s sake *laughs*
Some trends could definitely fade into oblivion forever. No, I’m definitely not going to wear cropped pants. ;-)
You don’t have to go along with every fashion fad. :-)

I have to admit, I bought a pair of these pants. But only because I really liked the jeans with the black pattern—and for two reasons. They don’t bunch up so easily in my boots, and if I sew black lace to the bottom of the legs, they look like a normal length ;-). So with a little cheating, even these pants work ;-)

I have to admit, I actually do like it, though more so in spring or summer.
As a “shorty” at 1.58 m, you just have to figure out how to create a bit of a visual illusion, and with slightly higher shoes, you instantly look a few centimeters taller.

Apparently, this trend is also a thing in the U.S. I recently ordered a pair of pants there that looked like a normal length in the photo, and I was really surprised: they only came down to my ankles; on someone a bit taller, they’d probably be capris...

I love capri pants, but unfortunately I can’t wear them—they look totally silly on me. ;-)
I prefer pants with a slightly flared cut, the “bootcut” style. That just looks best on my legs. ☺

I like bootcut pants, too
I really can’t stand carrot pants. You know, the ones that are normal to slightly wide at the top of the thighs and then taper so tightly at the bottom. That’s a no-go. I mean, those aren’t skinny pants. Skinny pants are form-fitting all the way down.
