Expensive Wool

I just came across a post on Facebook about some wool. Brace yourselves—the price for 25 g is €225.00. It’s vicuña wool from Peru.
That’s crazy, isn’t it? What do you think?

It’s no wonder—since these animals can only be sheared once every two years and the wool is so rare, that drives the price up, especially since the qualities of this wool are unmatched among all the well-known types of wool out there.

That’s what you call being “well-clothed” in the truest sense of the word.

I just had to look it up....
The yarn is supposed to be super exclusive.... However, you need about 10 skeins for a size 38 sweater, which—in terms of weight—would actually be really comfortable to wear, but who can afford that???? Even if I had the money, I’d constantly be “afraid” that “something would happen” to the sweater while I was wearing it. Like it getting snagged, etc...
But I’d really love to feel it with my own hands to see if it’s really that gorgeous... 

Yeah, I’d love to feel that kind of wool in person sometime.
