Who has (not) bought any yarn?

Dear users, dear authors,
have you bought any new yarn, or are you on a yarn diet?

I’m still sticking to my yarn diet. I’m using up leftover yarn to make a colorful blanket or something like that—granny squares…
but I get the impression it’s not actually getting any smaller. So my current yarn stash will last for a while yet.

I didn’t buy any yarn. But I got some as a gift, just like that......

I’d know right away what I’d make with it.

I’m still holding out too, for half a year now, and I’m going to keep it up. There’s still soooo much yarn calling for needles. Today at the market I was totally steadfast and brave. I’m really proud of myself. Because of all things, there was a Finkhof stall there. I love this yarn!! I looked at the yarn longingly and ... kept walking!! To be honest, that took a lot of willpower. 

If I managed that, then nothing else will get in the way until the end of the year.

I also received some yarn as a gift...
450g of pure silk...
I’d like to knit a summer shirt—does anyone have any experience with this? Is there anything I should keep in mind? Does the fabric change shape when worn?
