Knitting and crochet charts—which ones can you recommend?

Hi everyone, I haven’t used any knitting charts or crochet charts yet. I’ve always included plenty of pictures in my patterns and then explained the steps one by one. This has earned me positive reviews, since the patterns were apparently easy to follow. But I also know that many people really appreciate knitting and crochet charts, and I’d love to add such charts to my patterns.
Which charts can you recommend for me to download? Thanks in advance! landlady

I create my own knitting charts using a spreadsheet (LibreOffice) and special characters.

For crochet charts, I do have StitchinCrochet—but I just can’t seem to get the hang of it.

I create them in Excel. And I assign a color to each stitch, such as single crochet and double crochet. Of course, I try to explain this in words as well.
Or I use patterns from books. I take photos of them, and they’re included in the PDF. I’m not sure if I need to cite them separately. (Like we used to do in school with quotes?)
