We’re not doing anything special—it’s just a normal day.

Yesterday, though, there was a handmade card in the mailbox. The daycare made it. It had a photo of Anton on it and some lovely wishes. I thought that was really cute

Thanks—it’s just a normal Sunday for us, too. I don’t really make a big deal out of Mother’s Day anyway, because I believe I’m a mother 365 days a year, not just on this one special day. My kids know that, too—they don’t forget me, and they call me, which is enough for me during these times of COVID-19.

I also wish all mothers and grandmothers a wonderful day with your loved ones. For me, being a mother is one of the most important roles in life, because through it we help shape the future and pass on values of love, compassion, and self-confidence to our children.

To all the mothers in the world: You are sooo precious!
