These are beautiful photos—thank you for sharing them. I can really sense how nature is taking a breath and recovering now. Seeing a highway this empty gives a whole new perspective. It just feels good, too.

Very nice photos. The sky is so blue. We also enjoy spending a lot of time in the woods. The fruit trees are already blooming here, and it’s quite a bit warmer (Germany—near Stuttgart).

How far along is nature where you are in Norway, if it’s still 6 degrees there?

Thanks for the beautiful photos, Bastelfan! With the wonderful early summer weather we’ve had these past few days, it would have been so nice to go for a hike, but public transportation is still off-limits right now (which is why I’ve put my annual pass on hold).

It really makes you feel like you’re the first person ever here—everything is so untouched and secluded. A walk like this is a wonderful way to relax and unwind. Thank you for sharing, dear Andrea.

Everything here generally turns green later than in Germany. Most of the time, there’s still some snow lying around until March or April. This year, everything’s different anyway.

Today, for example, it felt like the height of summer again—blazing hot on the terrace in the sunshine. I think I got too much sun today, but it was wonderful; you literally “soak up” the warmth. That feels good.
The hedge and the birch tree are slowly turning green, and the lawn doesn’t look so gray anymore, but the ground is just still too cold, so there are actually still patches of snow in the shady spots (see photo above). Today it was even 14 degrees—it felt like 25 in the sun. But as soon as the wind picks up, it gets cooler right away.
The sky here is really such a beautiful, deep blue. A picture-perfect idyll, as I always say.
Even though there were actually so many people out and about today, it all feels spread out—you have peace and quiet, you can relax, and so on and so forth...
