A few years ago, I was searching for crochet patterns on a search engine and that’s how I ended up at Crazypatterns.

What keeps me here?

The great patterns offered here and the friendly interactions in the forum.

I found CP through my sewing forum and took a look around—I liked what I saw and stuck with it, first for a long time without the forum and then, for some time now, with the forum. I keep finding things here that give me inspiration for my projects.

About 3 1/2 years ago, I was looking for a pattern. That’s when I started knitting and crocheting again after sooo many years. Here, I found exactly what I’d always wanted: step-by-step patterns with photos. Shortly after that, I even started writing my own.

What I especially love here is the interaction in the forum. It almost feels like a CP family to me.

For me, it all started with these amigurumi, then later crochet dolls. I scoured the internet for ideas and patterns, and eventually ended up “sticking around” here at CP.
The variety of patterns is huge—so many cute little figures and so much more—and the way everything works here made me feel right at home right away.
Everyone is so kind, friendly, and helpful.
I feel the same way as Monika—we’re like one big family, and that’s what makes it so wonderful.
