How can you free up more time each day?

I know that problem all too well, especially since I’m back in school.

I like to use the morning hours when the boys are still asleep. Then, when I come home in the afternoon and they’re both there, they play together, and I always have about 10 minutes here and there. And then in the evening, when the little one is asleep and the older one goes off to do his own thing after dinner, that’s Mom’s time. If school isn’t on the schedule, I head over to my cozy craft corner.

I have two small children. I don’t really have time for myself until both of them are asleep. But by then, I’m usually too tired to do anything. ;)

We tend to take on too much in a single day and spend too much time on things that are unnecessary or irrelevant—or worrying about spilt milk and eggs that haven’t been laid yet. Only the eggs that have been laid belong in the pan; then there’s enough peace of mind and time left for the beautiful things around us.
