I especially love the crafting group here. It’s just so nice to show each other our current projects. It’s really motivating. Plus, we share tips and other information. That’s how I found out about the campaign to crochet nests for Australia.
Of course, it’s also nice to participate in a crafting group offline. Since I live in the countryside, my group here is unfortunately limited to just my neighbor. Even there, the exchange is very valuable and often sparks new ideas.
Unfortunately, I don’t have any offline connections to the crafting community either. The craft store does offer knitting classes, but to be honest, that’s a bit too expensive for me just to tinker away in the company of others.
That’s why I’m happy to share my passion with you all here 😉
I think craft groups are great—even online—because you get lots of inspiration, but also help with any questions you might have.
I’m lucky that there are sometimes meetups near me, and of course, meeting in person is even better
Since I usually cook for my grandchildren on Thursdays, I can only join the knitting group every now and then. Luckily, there’s CP—and I’ve also joined various groups on Facebook, but I only check in there sporadically.
