I’d Like to Introduce My Shops and Myself......

Hello,
I’ve actually been registered here since May 2014, but haven’t been very active in the forum yet. I’d like to change that now, so I’ll introduce myself here:

My name “Nähwittchen” already says something about my favorite hobby: I sew with great passion.
It all started in 2005, when I saw a beautiful, colorful patchwork blanket in a magazine and really wanted to sew a blanket like that myself someday. But since I had zero sewing skills, apart from sewing on buttons ;- ), I took patchwork and sewing classes and, over time, taught myself a thing or two as well. Because I can’t keep everything I sew myself, I opened a shop on Dawanda 5 years ago and sell my sewn items there, such as bags, pouches, pillows, blankets, and much more.

I’m also enthusiastic about recycling, especially jeans recycling. I combine fabrics and jeans, and the result is all kinds of different bags. Here is my latest creation:



I enjoy experimenting, and every now and then that also results in a sewing pattern, which is then available here in my pattern shop.

Welcome officially as well. :) The bag in the picture turned out really nice.

Welcome, Angela. It’s wonderful that another person who sews is now active here on the forum too. I have great respect for sewing, because I just don’t get along with my sewing machine.

I’m glad you like my bag. I don’t have a pattern for it yet, but I’ll get around to that soon ;- )

I just finished the pattern for the 2016 themed challenge, and after that I’ll get started on a new project—or rather, a denim project.....;- )
