Stretching a crocheted piece and securing it with craft glue

Hi,

I crocheted an angel with a beautiful wing (pattern from here).

Now I’m not quite sure how to stretch the wing and brush it with craft glue.

Has anyone done this before?

It would be great if you could give me a few tips.

Have you managed to figure it out in the meantime? In your case, I’d use sturdy cardboard (an old box) and place pins and parchment paper in between so it doesn’t stick. I usually stretch things out on rubber mats, but I’d be careful with the glue there, too. By the way, any craft glue works just fine!
