Dear users, dear authors,
how are you? How was your weekend?
How’s the weather?
Are you already feeling the Christmas rush / working on your Christmas crafts, or is Christmas still a long way off?
Tell me all about it.

The weekend was nice, but unfortunately way too short. The weather’s kind of okay (it’s gotten pretty warm), and I’m not feeling any Christmas stress (yet), since I’ve already finished some of my gifts.
Other than that, I’m doing pretty well, except for a slight headache. But luckily, I’m already off work now.

The sun is shining here, so it’s really nice. The weekend was great, and now I’m kicking off a creative week. The first Christmas gifts are already done, and I’m working on the rest. I’m not stressing about it at all.

This year, I’m already starting to put up Christmas decorations—I’ve never done that before. I love it when everything is cozy and snug.

The weekend was nice, but too short.
It’s been raining here all day.

I’ll be putting up my Christmas decorations sometime this week, since we’ll be
at Phantasialand and in Cologne next weekend, and on the first
weekend of Advent, I’ll be at a spa hotel with my husband (without the kids).

I’m not stressing about Christmas at all. In our family, only the kids get presents
and I’ve already got some of them.

We still want to bake a few cookies—we’ll see when we can find the time.

Best, Heike

Well, I’m not feeling any Christmas stress.
My bronchitis is almost gone, but now I’ve got a stomach bug. Hopefully, my child’s adjustment to daycare won’t keep going like this.

The bug really knocked me out, too. I’m pretty slim, so I don’t have much to fight it off with.

Sandra, I hope you get back to full health really soon. Just treat yourself to a little rest when Anton is at daycare. You’ve earned it. Our bodies just need that every now and then. :)

Yeah, I’ll do that tomorrow too, and I’m already in bed now.

Wishing everyone here who’s sick a speedy recovery

Over here, the weather’s miserable—sleet and 2–4 degrees Celsius, all slushy and gross.
Just right for crafts, if I have tomorrow off.
I’m not feeling any Christmas stress yet; it’s all still far, far away.

Over the weekend, I actually already decorated my apartment for Christmas—since I had a tooth pulled on Thursday after developing a jaw infection, I felt the need to make my surroundings extra cozy... I’m slowly getting back to normal.

I almost never feel the Christmas rush, since I love making or buying gifts for my loved ones. I also enjoy spending time with my sweetheart baking cookies, and when I invite guests over, I love hosting them and look forward to our time together… for me, none of this is a chore that has to be done—I do it because I really enjoy it.

Christmas still feels soooo far away in my mind.
I don’t think anyone will be getting anything homemade this year. (Except maybe something that just happens to be finished already.)

But you’ve really got me in the mood for Christmas decorations now. The house was sooo festive last year—just thinking about it makes me feel nostalgic.
I think this weekend I’ll put away the fall decorations and unpack the Christmas stuff :)

Hi Tina, it’s nice to hear from you again. How are you/how are you all doing?

Thanks for asking :)

We're doing wonderfully.
Little Leo was born on 31 October (exactly on his due date) and is a very easy baby.

I haven't had time to crochet, but at least I get some sleep at night, and he hardly cries during the day either :)

Dear Tina,

I’d like to congratulate you on little Leo and wish you both lots of joy together. Enjoy every moment—he’ll grow up so fast.

I’m sure he’ll be dressed head to toe in cute woolen clothes. :)

Best regards
Monika
