Knitting Socks

I like knitting spiral socks—these are socks without a heel.

Because of the knitting method (spiral-shaped), the sock fits snugly to the shape of the foot and therefore fits many sizes.  I really like knitting them for my grandson; his foot grows so quickly, and this way they fit for quite a long time and are great in kindergarten for rubber boots.

With this knitting pattern you should know how to knit and purl stitches. The pattern is described in detail, and pictures illustrate the steps. The pattern covers sizes 14–18 through size 47.

If you haven’t felt like knitting socks so far, the mowi heel makes it so easy that you’ll only want to knit socks. I describe 4 different size examples with all the individual rows and using 3 needles (CraSy Trio). If you prefer to knit with a set of double-pointed needles, you can of course use the mowi heel that way too.

The baby winter set includes the pattern for cute baby socks. Here, too, you'll learn how to knit the simple mowi heel. Tips for larger sizes are included.

To keep the baby from kicking the socks off, they are equipped with a little tie ribbon. These socks will also still fit a one-year-old and can be knitted nicely from leftover yarn.

Just arrived in the shop are these children’s socks, creatively knitted in a pattern mix with stripes and dots. For experienced knitters, they’re an interesting project and a lovely gift, for example for Christmas.

The socks are knitted with the brilliantly simple mowi heel. Good knitting experience is recommended here.
