I really love knitting cables, but I’ve actually failed at crocheting them. I also think knitted cables look softer and more flowing, while crocheted cables have a more “angular” look.

I feel the same way as Nadeleule. I prefer knitted cables, too.

I can't crochet cables.
That aside, I prefer knitted ones anyway.

I find that knitted cables look more fluid in the stitch pattern. Crocheted cables, on the other hand, seem more defined and structured to me. Both look good and have their place depending on the project. I like both crafting techniques equally.
