Hard-working little helpers: Have you had a good start to October?

what are you working on today?

Hi Josefa, I’m working on a crocheted horse carousel on one hand, a wolf tapestry on the other, plus a pair of neon-colored socks, and a summer sweater… just whatever makes me happy and whatever I feel like doing. The horse carousel is a birthday gift for my mom’s 70th on December 6; I can only work on the tapestry at home with good lighting; and I’m alternating between the socks and the sweater.

Oh Sofi, you absolutely have to show us a picture of that horse carousel!

Of course, a photo shoot is already planned, but in the meantime, I’m still working on it. By the way, the pattern is from here—I bought it right at the beginning but am only making it now. I’m already so excited to see my mom’s face when she sees the carousel, and I’m also really looking forward to seeing how it looks when it’s finished...
But I promise, a photo is coming.

It’s going okay—when I took a closer look last night at the front piece I’m currently knitting, I noticed a mistake in a spot where it’s very easy to see. I checked how far *down* it was and had to unravel about 10 cm. When you’ve been renovating all day, you really shouldn’t pick up your knitting in the evening when you’re tired :-) ;-) Well, now that section looks just as it should, and it was worth unraveling it.
