Weekend Plans: What Are You Up To?

do you have plans for the weekend?

Today I’m going to make the most of this lovely afternoon and knit some socks for my granddaughters on the balcony. Sunday is also going to be such a beautiful, sunny day, so I’ll be using that time for that, too. And I’ll be enjoying some homemade banana cake with it. :)

It’s been raining here all morning; this afternoon, we’ll do the weekend grocery shopping first, and then it’s time for the final push to finally finish my kitchen. Tomorrow, one of my sons-in-law is coming over to lend a hand, so things will go even faster then.

My husband and I are going out for Israeli food today. It’s his birthday dinner, actually. We didn’t have time before. I’m really excited. 

Nothing is planned for tomorrow, and I have to work on Sunday. 

This weekend I finally have some time off, and I’m going to spend most of it crocheting a bag for my coworker. I found a nice, simple granny square pattern here on CP (it’s actually for a pot holder), so I don’t have to think too much—I can just relax and follow the pattern. I just don’t have the time to design anything new right now. Other than that, I’ll be doing the weekly grocery shopping and trimming the hedge in the garden. Hopefully it’ll be dry again tomorrow—it’s been raining nonstop here for the last two days.

I also have a weekend off ahead of me. Time to recharge.

Today, I’d like to start by baking some croissants, then do some crocheting. Tonight, I’ll cook something delicious with vegetables.

Tomorrow we’re going to Schelklingen. There’s a hike with sheep taking place there. We’re really looking forward to it and keeping an eye on the weather. It hasn’t rained here yet today. The sun comes out every now and then. We’ll see if we can hike with or without an umbrella tomorrow.
