Thank you so, so much. The day was really lovely. But also very exhausting. Anton fell asleep right away, and I’m going to bed now, too.
He really enjoyed the day. There were two kids his age there with their parents, and then my parents and my mother-in-law were there, too.

He now has a book about excavators. I can already picture us standing in front of a construction site with that book. :-)

I remember one of my grandsons—our foster daughter's son—when he was that little. We could have parked his stroller in front of a construction site and walked away—for hours. He would definitely have stayed right there and even fallen asleep. He loved construction sites and all the vehicles there. The louder and bigger, the better. 

Yes, he really is cute, and it’s great that he gets so excited about things. :-) Yesterday, it was really interesting to see how different—and yet how similar—the kids are.
One of his friends is much better at handling a ball and speaking, but Anton is much better at fine motor skills—he’s already good with a fork, etc.
That was really fascinating, and the little girl in the group was much cuter, calmer, etc.
Really cute.

And they played together so well. There wasn’t a single argument.
It was a really lovely day. 

Wow, is he already 2 years old?
It’s crazy how time flies.
