How’s the yarn? // Wooly Wednesday

how are your yarn supplies / leftover yarn doing?
Who has (not) bought any yarn? Was there a cute little ball of yarn in there?

I want to buy some yarn once the move is done—I saw a great jacket online that I’d like to knit. I unraveled the RVO jacket from last fall because it didn’t fit me at all anymore; apparently my body has changed a lot—it looked especially bad in the shoulder area. RVO isn’t for me—I can’t shorten the right side enough to make the jacket fit well. My right side is now a good 4.5 cm shorter than the left, due to my crooked lumbar spine.

yes, I recently bought a pretty yarn cake. I put the colors together on the screen. And honestly, it always ends up looking different in real life. My project to wind my own yarn cakes is now back in the foreground. But that will have to wait. And the new yarn cake is going into the “treasure chest for special projects.”

Right now, I’m working on my leftover felting yarn and trying out new things. Leftovers are perfect for that.
