Hard-Working Little Helpers at the End of August

Dear users, dear authors,
dear little helpers,
what are you working on today?

Today I’m heading out to the garden to keep knitting on my loop scarf. First up is the one for my husband, who gets cold faster than I do. Plus, we’re grilling vegetables again tonight. I’m really looking forward to it.

I’m knitting a child’s hat, but only in the evening while watching TV—it’s way too warm for that during the day.

Oh, my day is packed today.

Unfortunately, I have to work all day, creating booking lists. I’ll get back to it after lunch.

Tonight, I’d like to seal my grandson’s treasure chest so the painted picture is protected. 



Right now, the potatoes are cooking for tonight’s vegetable casserole. We can harvest our first broccoli. And after dinner, I’m looking forward to knitting a few more stitches on my scarf. It’s a great yarn and a simple pattern.

We’re at the zoo right now. Anton fell asleep 15 minutes ago, and I’m crocheting a little elf in the shade. A friend is coming with her son in half an hour. Then things will continue here. :-)

Since I’m still waiting for a ball of yarn anyway, I’m doing some photo editing today :)
And cleaning wouldn’t be a bad idea either.

On Tuesday, most of my little helpers are taking the day off… But I still want to crochet a few appliqués for the little jacket. Tomorrow doesn’t look much better, since there’s still quite a bit to do before our guest arrives. Most importantly, we need to childproof the living room—that means needles, scissors, and anything else the little one shouldn’t get his hands on have to be moved to higher shelves! But of course, we’re absolutely thrilled to have him stay with us for a few days!
