Nope, actually I don’t really need any more craft tools. Sure, you can never have enough fabric or yarn, but the longer you think about it, the more things come to mind. For example, I still need some water-soluble embroidery backing for the Christmas lace embroidery projects I’d like to do.
Speaking of yarn, once the doc gives me the green light to start knitting again, I’m going to dye my own yarn. I just found another skein of undyed wool while cleaning out my stash, so I’ll order some more and dye it—I’ll use it to make socks and other things.
I have a lot. And yet I still want more! :-D
I’d like to replace my circular needles—I’d love some with decent cables that don’t have a memory effect. And I’d also like to try out some ergonomic knitting needles! I could also use some stitch stoppers for the set of double-pointed needles. And I want the Crazy Trio, too. I don’t have any Tunisian crochet hooks yet. I’d also love to have a tatting hook. A large stitch holder, since I only have a small one. A yarn ball holder, a project bag, a circular needle case (mine isn’t very practical), yarn spools, embroidery scissors with very sharp tips, a scissor sharpener, ...
It’s dangerous to let me into a craft store with money—very dangerous! :-D
I already have quite a lot and am actually well-equipped. What I’d still like are circular needles made of wood or bamboo in a few different sizes. I’m also missing one size from the CraSy Trio set. But after all, I have to leave a few wishes unfulfilled so that, for example, my husband knows what to get me as a gift. ;-)
If I spend a little more time browsing in the craft store, I’m sure I’ll discover a whole lot more. Luckily, we don’t have one nearby—otherwise, my yarn diet, which I plan to stick to for at least a year, would be in serious jeopardy.
Can you ever really have enough? Besides, there’s always something new coming onto the market that you need, should have, should use, should buy (or just want to)... and I have so many wishes!!! I’d still like to try so many things, but I think I’d have to live to be at least 1,000 years old to do that.
Even though I have quite a few things, I can always use a little more:
In addition to yarn for the fall project, I’m missing screw-on needle tips in thinner sizes.
Earring-making supplies are also on my list.
Not exactly craft supplies—but I definitely plan to buy a mannequin.
I’m currently still missing a Crasy Trio in needle size 4.5 for the sweater I currently have on my needles. I also still need metal eyelets for the drawstring on the collar and lower hem.
It’s funny, for me it’s the 4.5 CraSyTrio too. Maybe the Christ Child or Santa Claus will read this and everything will be under the tree. Who knows... ;-)
