Crafting Fun for Kids: Fall and Winter Crafts

here in this thread there is plenty of space for craft patterns that will bring children lots of joy. Let's get started.

Children love being creative. They need guidance from us so that both the making and the result bring joy. One example would be an Advent wreath made from pom-poms made with the family. A lovely group project where everyone can contribute their own skills. And in the end, everyone enjoys the beautiful and unique wreath. From my own experience, I can say that all visitors always touch it—the “fluffy green Christmas balls” are simply inviting.

I hope you have lots of fun with this project. It has to be finished in 4 months :-) and there are lots of pom-poms to make. So it’s best to start soon.

If you have kids and a cat at home, you might enjoy this little craft project. The kids can make a cat toy out of your old leftover felting wool. Wrap the felting wool into a ball, then put rubber bands around it. Then crochet and attach a cord with a handle to the ball, and put the whole thing in the washing machine for felting. The result is a toy ball for the cat.

Fall is crafting time. You make yourselves cozy indoors with the children and craft. I like making buttons with the children. I need them for my handicrafts


and the children make game pieces for their board games. After all, some always get lost over time, so you can make a new supply in any colors you like. For example, for a Nine Men's Morris game:
