Hard-Working Little Helpers at the End of July

dear little helpers,

are you working hard?

I’ve already been happily knitting socks today. Since the weather is somewhat bearable, sock yarn works just fine.

Over the weekend, I sewed three pairs of pants and a shirt. I had my daughter measure me again beforehand—which was a good thing, since I’ve gone down two dress sizes since February. :-) Yesterday and today, I sewed two more bags from the leftover denim from the pants, and this morning I also cut out a blouse—I’ll get started on that tomorrow.

I finally get to work with thicker yarn again and am working on a UFO—the leggings for my granddaughter. Let’s see how far I get this week.

I harvested some potatoes and am now making gnocchi. 

In the meantime, I’m doing some housework and waiting for Anton to wake up again.
