Careful if you leave a bowl of nuts sitting around somewhere! The cheeky squirrel Kiki will spot it right away and grab a few to nibble on. But when it looks at you so sweetly with its big eyes, you just can’t be mad at it!

Kiki is crocheted from cotton and eyelash yarn. I used Catania by Schachenmayr (125 m / 50 g) and Peppina by Lana grossa (85 m / 50 g). I needed less than 1 ball of each. You’ll also need a 2.5 mm crochet hook, polyester fiberfill for stuffing, safety eyes (diameter approx. 8 mm), a scrap of black yarn, and sturdy thread for the whiskers.

You can crochet a festive dress for Barbie using glitter yarn even on hot days. It’s quick to make and requires very little material. This is an ideal project for using up some leftover yarn.

You’ll need:

• Scraps of black glitter yarn (e.g., Glitter by Gründel)

100 g cotton yarn, 115 m per 50 g. I used 50 g of dark yarn and 50 g of light yarn. I used about 20 g of the dark yarn (Granny) and about 40 g of the light yarn (Granny, border, wrist strap). 3.5 mm crochet hook
