Dear users, dear authors,
dear little helpers,
what are you working on today?
How are you doing?
Do you have weekly goals or craft plans?
What’s for lunch?
Let me know.

Thanks for asking—I’m doing relatively well at the moment. I’ve switched my medication, and it’s doing me a world of good.
Over Pentecost, I sewed the Schnabelinata bag twice—once in the small size and once in the mini size—so I was kept pretty busy.

That’s such a great fabric you found for those two bags! It’s definitely an eye-catcher!

Thanks, Ruth—I found it at one of our local fabric stores; we have three of them here, and I love browsing in all of them :-)

The bags are great. I tried sewing them once, too, but failed. :-)

How are your hands, by the way? You seem to be coping just fine with the knitting and crocheting ban.

I just made some herb oil with chili peppers, rosemary, and thyme I harvested myself. There’s garlic in it, too, but I bought that.

My hands are still giving me trouble; I have another doctor’s appointment on Friday for my left hand. After that, I’ll know more precisely whether I’ll need surgery or whether a splint will *just* be enough. I’d prefer the latter—it takes a little longer, but I don’t really like being cut up anymore. After having 9 surgeries between 2007 and 2016, I’m honestly thoroughly fed up with it.

Oh yeah. I can totally relate. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that one splint will be enough.

Akela: I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you, too, and hope you feel better soon!
Those bags are great—where can I find the pattern? My machine is already eagerly waiting for its next project!

Yesterday I quickly sewed two towel aprons for my granddaughter—they’re half-aprons where you button on a small towel, which are essential for cooking. She asked me over Pentecost if I could sew her something like that, since her mom—my daughter—already got some from me. Of course Grandma will make something like that, especially since the girl is coming to visit me tomorrow—she can take them with her right away.

Akela, you have great ideas. :) The bags look fantastic. And the apron is super practical. You’d have to think of that first. I hope you feel better soon, too.

I’m continuing to knit the leggings for my granddaughter, and the first leg is already taking shape.

Today we’re having salad and roasted vegetables with smoked tofu.

@Thanks to everyone :-)
Yes, sewing is my biggest hobby and my passion; then come all the other hobbies I enjoy—I never get bored. :-)
