what are you working on right now?

I just had an idea for a summery top that I really want to try out today—let’s see how it turns out...

I’m waiting for some fabric my husband ordered for me—no idea what it looks like :-) but I know he has excellent taste when it comes to that.
Last week I tried out my new coverstitch machine and used it to sew quite a few shirts.

Just finishing up two projects, and then

I’m off on vacation!

In addition to continuing to crochet a tablecloth and knitting a lace-style stole, I’m still in the process of sewing lining fabric to the skirt portion of a dress (by hand, since I don’t trust my sewing machine).
I’ve already sewn the fabric on, though. Now I’m sewing the pieces together, and later I’ll tackle the hem.

Until yesterday, I was mostly still working on my tax return and generally trying to sort out the mess in my home office...
Then last night, I finally got back to typing up a pattern... (Looking at the pictures, I realized the project has been lying there finished for a full 4 months now... lalalala...)
Tonight I’m focused on the ultrasound and on not getting too nervous (Tonight I’ll finally get to see the little one again, yay! And as always, I’m dying of fear and nervousness ;D)

And theeeen... Starting tomorrow... I can finally, finally crochet again, yay!
Unfortunately, I’m just short on ideas... I’ll probably keep working on my long-term motif blanket for now, until something else comes to mind :) 

Since I have a dear friend visiting for 10 days, I barely have time to crochet or knit. However, she asked for something, and I’d like to finish crocheting it during this time so she can take it home with her.

It’s the tissue box cover—this time in two colors, beige and light brown, to match her decor. She’d also like some granny squares as coasters.
