Isn't this a cute little kitten? Whether you crochet it with cuddly yarn (right) or acrylic yarn (left), the result always looks great. The kitten is about 20 cm tall, an ideal size to take anywhere and cuddle.

You need:
  • White and black cuddly yarn (e.g., Rico Baby Teddy (LL 50g / 145 m) or Phildar Phil douce (LL 50g/86 m) or similar) – you need less than 1 ball of
    each
  • OR
  • Black and gray acrylic yarn (e.g., Bravo by Schachenmayr, LL 133 m / 50 g)
  • Crochet hook size 3.0
  • Polyester fiberfill for stuffing the head
  • 1 thick sewing needle, as long as possible, for weaving in ends and sewing the pieces together
  • 1 sharp embroidery needle for embroidering the nose
  • 1 pair of cat eyes (diameter about 10 mm) for sewing on
  • Nylon thread (kite string) for the whiskers
  • Embroidery floss in black
Basic crochet skills are enough. If you want to use cuddly yarn, you should already have a little experience with crochet. But in the pattern, you'll also get tips on how to reduce problems with this yarn.
You can find the pattern here!

Crochet Pattern: Rustico Basket

An absolute favorite among my customers is the Rustico basket. What makes it special is that it’s crocheted using several yarns at the same time , so you can make quick progress. The secret to its stability and sturdiness is a plastic clothesline that is crocheted along with it. You can’t see it, but it runs through the inside in a spiral.

You can make the basket as big and as tall as you like. It works in any size. And it’s also very well suited for crochet beginners. We’re not crocheting anything complicated.

Feel free to read through the 247 positive reviews from other buyers and let yourself be inspired to try this project. You can find more information and the pattern by clicking on the title.

I hope you enjoy this project - Ina

Felt Moccasins in All Sizes

Another long-time favorite among my customers. These felt moccasin-style slippers are perfect for yourself, your family, guests, or as a gift. You can make them yourself in all sizes and colors using my pattern.

The felt moccasins are wonderfully soft and comfortable—nothing pinches. The thick felt ensures a soft feel underfoot. We’ll add a rubber sole so you don’t slip. But you can also sew a leather sole onto the bottom. In the description, I outline various options.

The shoe is knitted in one piece using knit stitches and purl stitches, and single crochet stitches are worked all around to create the moccasin look.

You’ll find more pictures, information, and the pattern when you click on the title.

I hope you have lots of fun with this project, too—Ina

6 crochet patterns and 1 hand-sewing pattern for the “Swing” doll fashion series

If your children or grandchildren could choose a favorite outfit for their Barbie dolls for you to crochet for them, it would probably be this one. And the best part is, with this pattern you can make not just that one favorite outfit, but a few others too, including hats and a bag. It’s simply a joy—first while crocheting, then when giving it as a gift, and then during play.

Feel free to take a look at my examples. For the pictures, more information, and the pattern, just click on the heading.

All models are also very well suited for crochet beginners, as I describe and show everything in detail.

I hope you have lots of fun with this lovely project—yours, Ina

EVERYDAY Shawl—just the right thing for every day!

Click here to go straight to the pattern!

Everyday is super easy to crochet and wonderfully light and airy.
It’s also great for beginners and for “just crocheting away,” because you’re working in a continuous repeat—so you can stop anytime. I bet you already have the perfect little yarn cake waiting in your stash, right? :-) Shorter yardage works too, because you get a lot of shawl for very little yarn...
Crazy color gradients also look absolutely amazing here!

Have fun crocheting this summer!

Crochet a baby blanket for the infant car seat

This lovely baby blanket is a beautiful and super practical companion in your
everyday baby life. The baby doesn’t always have to be bundled into a suit
(and then unpacked again (!)) - just put on a little hat, wrap them up in the blanket
in their indoor clothes, and off you go to Grandma’s, the supermarket, or quickly to PEKiP! :-)
Thanks to the built-in drawstring, the corner quickly turns into a hood - simply super practical!

CLICK HERE for lots more pictures and info about the wrap blanket

Have fun crocheting for baby! :-)
