Hi everyone,
I’m currently working on the Lama Pedro crochet kit from Rico Design. Has anyone else done this before?
Right now I’m working on the body and have already finished half of it. I started with a foundation chain of stitches and then crocheted in rounds. Now the pattern says: lay the work with the cast-on edge facing down and mark the back knit stitch.
I’m not exactly sure what they mean by that—or rather, I don’t know what they mean by “back right knit stitch.”
But if you lay the work in front of you with the cast-on edge facing down, then there are two sides lying on top of each other. And the one that is on the table (if you were to lay it on a table to look at it) is the back side, so also the back stitch(es). Maybe that’s what is meant.
But which knit stitch... maybe that will become clear from the text that follows.
But maybe someone else knows the pattern. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you.
I’m also in the middle of crocheting the llama. I laid the work flat on the table and then marked the back stitch of the right side. I continued working according to the pattern. That worked out perfectly. Now I’m wondering how I’m supposed to sew the back together. The hole for the head is clear. However, the back section where the tail is sewn on still looks a bit odd to me. I’ll keep tinkering with it. Maybe someone else has gotten this far and can give me a tip. Good luck to everyone! Best regards, Silvia
