Dear users, dear authors,
how much wool do you need to be satisfied for now?
Of course, you can never have enough wool, but how much would it take for you to be okay with it?

At least enough so that I can spontaneously start a bigger project. And some cotton yarn for little spur-of-the-moment projects. It definitely has to be nice yarn :) Small leftovers and yarn I don’t like frustrate me.

It’s not about the quantity, but whether I happen to have the right yarn on hand for a spontaneous project.

Sometimes it has to be exactly the yarn or color that I don’t currently have in my stash.

For me, it’s enough to know a good yarn shop nearby… that way I can quickly pick up the right yarn for my next project. At home, I really only have a selection of cotton yarn in different colors, which I can always restock as needed. That’s all I need for little projects… I really only make impulse purchases anymore if I already have a suitable project in mind when I’m buying it.

Well, a small stash of yarn is enough for me, so I can finish crocheting smaller projects. Since I’m a fan of mini versions anyway—like amigurumi and dolls—I always have some in stock. That makes me happy.

I’m not really one to hoard. I (almost) only buy yarn for specific projects these days. However, I always end up with a few leftovers, for which I then design patterns.
In that sense, the yarn I have at home is more than enough for me (it could even be a little less) to be happy. And when I start a new, larger project, I buy the yarn I need. I’m not worried that there might one day be no more yarn available ;-)

I love having a good stash, so I’m happy to go on a wool diet for a few months every now and then. I need to have enough of different yarns so that I can start and finish new projects.

When it comes to cotton, I always need a nice assortment of colors so I can turn decorating ideas into reality right away, for example.

I actually have far too much yarn lying around, because I can’t crochet anymore, but I can still knit. I still have a whole bag of eyelash yarn, and I’m now knitting teddy bears from it for our local children’s food bank. It’s going to be a colorful bunch :-)

Enough so that I don’t have to make a special trip into town to buy yarn when an idea suddenly strikes me.
