Men’s vests with cable patterns have a long tradition and can be worn for many occasions, in any season.

My husband was very happy with this vest, and it immediately became one of his favorite pieces of clothing.

You should have some knitting experience. Everything is explained well in the pattern.

We women always like it when our clothes make us look slimmer, don't we?
That's exactly why I designed this vest with vertical stripes. It works for every season and in many color combinations.

Here you'll also learn how easy it is to crochet the vertical stripes onto the vest.

Knitting experience and crochet skills should be present.

Ponchos never go out of style. This poncho cape can be knitted very easily from sock yarn, in a relaxed way while watching TV or on the side. And it serves you well when it gets a bit cooler. Just pull it over your head and your shoulders are warm.

Knitting experience and the listed skills should be present.

A warm knitted cardigan is always a plus. This one is timeless and also has something special. It is knit raglan from the top down, has knitted-in pockets, and a pattern that hugs the figure while still being nice and stretchy. This means the cardigan fits sizes 40–44.

Knitting experience and the basic skills mentioned should be present.

Knitted leggings for toddlers in a striped pattern have a long tradition. They’re comfortable, keep little ones nice and warm outside while playing, and best of all, they’re quick and easy to knit.

Even beginners with a little knitting experience can make them, because the pattern explains all the steps very well.

The leggings described here fit from about 1.5 to 3 years, so they grow with your child.

I love timeless clothing and enjoy wearing it most. This romantic summer skirt made of cotton can be worn just as well by children as by women. The colors can be combined however you like.

The pattern is written for a women’s skirt in size 40-42. The measurements can be converted very easily, so the skirt can also be knitted for children.

The eye-catcher is a pretty hem with a lace pattern.

Pure nostalgia: Do you remember Grandma’s polka-dotted coffee set? Now you can bring it back to life in the kitchen as potholders:

The potholders are crocheted double-layered. That way you can slip your hand in from the top and get a better grip on the pots. For one potholder you’ll need about 60 g of cotton yarn (such as Catania, yardage 125 m/50 g) and 30 g of white cotton yarn. The patterns include a graphical counting chart, as well as a table where everything is written out row by row. Lots of pictures explain the important steps.
You can buy the patterns individually or together as a value bundle with a savings of 20%. Just click on the corresponding image and you’ll get to the download!

Isn't that interesting? A railroad locomotive actually looks quite different today. Even so, every child recognizes the good old steam locomotive!

Here you can crochet a wonderful version of one that is especially suitable for small children, because the locomotive is very sturdy and doesn't mind rough handling. Kids can suck on it, toss it around, and even take it to bed at night without anything happening. And if it ends up in the sandbox, of course you can wash it too. But many an adult railroad fan will also be happy to have such a nostalgic decorative piece.

You can find more details about the required materials and the pattern here!

Lace patterns are always popular.
With the Ajour Triangle Shawl, you can knit different versions.

A classic cozy sweater with a simple cut and slight batwing sleeves is just the thing!
The sweater features a horizontally striped knit-and-purl pattern across the chest and a vertically ribbed pattern on the lower half.
The best part: you only need to knit two pieces (front and back), since the sweater is knitted from sleeve to sleeve and from top to bottom. This also makes it very well suited for beginners.

Just as classic:
The cozy throw blanket in a lattice pattern!
The blanket can be knitted in a modern colored block-stripe look, or simply in a solid color. The border is made with a simple seed stitch.

Cable patterns have always been used for knitted garments

Baby booties as a gift for a new baby are still always welcome with moms

For these booties, you’ll need to know how to use a set of double-pointed needles, including a cable needle. If you have some practice with them, my pattern is described in great detail and guides you through the project step by step.

The size can be influenced by the needle size and the yarn yardage.

Cable and braided patterns have a long tradition and, so to speak, never go out of style, because they can be given a fresh modern look again and again with new yarns and new combinations. The HIGHLAND MITTS fingerless gloves are a great accessory for both HIM and HER! A Celtic braided pattern adds variety to the knitting, and a simple rib pattern ensures a perfect fit on the hand and arm. The wide turn-up cuff on the hand keeps it warm while leaving the fingers free, but it can also be folded forward as you like, in which case it covers almost the entire hand.
Any yarn suitable for 3 mm needles can be used; here, they were knitted with a fine merino yarn that shows off the pattern particularly beautifully.

Have fun knitting!
Annette

Socks are always a good idea:
The knitted double-face socks keep cold feet especially warm.

The four-page PDF file with knitting chart is suitable for advanced knitters.

One classic is the granny square. It’s visually striking and easy to crochet in its basic form.

The “Big Granny” baby blanket uses this pattern and is easy to crochet, even for beginners. The chosen colors also create a special effect. Take a look at it.

Knitting baby blankets is certainly a very old tradition. The blanket should make the baby, with its delicate skin, feel comfortable. It should keep the baby nice and warm while regulating temperature. Merino wool works especially well for this. It has all the wonderful properties we want in a baby blanket, and it’s even machine-washable.

The pattern for my blanket is timelessly beautiful and easy for even beginner knitters to follow. It’s the ideal gift for a newborn. My grandson feels especially cozy in and under it.

I hope you enjoy this project. Ina

This beautiful cable pattern also has a long tradition. For a while, people preferred everything smooth and understated. But now patterns are very popular again. Combined with beautiful yarn that keeps us warm and feels soft, they are a special eye-catcher and a wonderful addition to our wardrobe. The wrist warmers can be wonderfully combined with current fashion.

The cuff is elastic and automatically adapts to every wrist. The thumb is well shaped and offers enough space and freedom of movement. The hand and wrist are reliably warmed; only the fingertips peek out, giving us the dexterity we need for everyday life.

Click here and you’ll get to more photos, information, and the pattern.

I wish you lots of joy knitting and wearing the wrist warmers - Yours, Ina

Do you remember knitting dolly cords ? I think a lot of people know them from their childhood. This old tradition inspired me to create something new—so I made a rug for a child’s room out of them.

So we’ll need lots of colorful yarn, a knitting dolly with a crank, and we’re ready to go. First, we made lots of knitting dolly cords, which we then threaded through a crocheted mesh rug. It’s so much fun to mix and match the colors. In the end, everyone has their very own unique rug.

I hope you have lots of fun with this traditional and creative project—Ina

Granny squares have always been a favorite to crochet.

Why not try making a large one for a blanket?

You start in the center, and using tried-and-true increases, the granny square gradually gets bigger... until you run out of yarn.

You should have a basic understanding of single crochet, slip stitches, and double crochet. The border is crocheted using the crab stitch—this is explained with pictures in the pattern.

Classic knit-and-purl patterns are easy to knit and are an indispensable part of the knitting world. Here’s a smaller project: a pair of wrist warmers. I’ll explain this design in two knitting variations:
- in the round with a set of double-pointed needles
- flat with circular or straight needles, for those who don’t like knitting with a set of double-pointed needles.

Whether you choose a single color or, as in my example, three colors is up to you.

Have fun knitting!

The pattern for my baby blanket is based on a pattern from my grandma and can be easily crocheted in one piece. Whether you’re working on it outdoors in the summer or in the evening in front of the TV, you’ll quickly get the hang of the technique, and in the end, you’ll have a beautiful retro gift for a new baby.

And to give this tried-and-true pattern a modern twist, here’s another variation based on the same technique—this time with even more ♥ ♥ ♥. It’s also a great gift for expectant parents and for a new baby!

The patterns are suitable for ambitious beginners who have already crocheted with single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and chain stitches. Both blankets are crocheted with gradient yarn in the colors of your choice and can be easily adjusted in size and shape. The pattern includes a crochet chart and a written description as well as instructions for the techniques used, explained with plenty of photos.

Have fun crocheting!

Barbie likes traditional styles, too. She especially loves going out in this crocheted dirndl. The dress features red, black, and green colors. The white blouse is crocheted on so it doesn’t add bulk and is also easier to put on. The green apron features an airy lace pattern so it drapes loosely. To match the dirndl, Barbie wears a choker, a red traditional hat with a feather, and a matching traditional bag. Of course, the large gingerbread heart around her neck is a must-have.
You can crochet all of this from a bit of leftover yarn using my pattern.

Baby booties have always been knitted as a gift for a new baby.

Here’s a design featuring slipped stitches. Knitted in two colors using a set of double-pointed needles, the pattern looks especially beautiful.

Depending on the yarn yardage and needle size, the booties will have a sole length of 8.5–10 cm.
