Why isn't it a triangle?

Hi. I can't zoom in right now to see it clearly. I'm guessing either you crocheted it too tightly or you missed some stitches somewhere. I'll check back later when I can look at it on my computer.

It’s hard to tell from the picture, but I tried it myself, and I do get a triangle; I’d be happy to send you a few photos.

I just tried it on my computer. Unfortunately, I can't make it big enough to see it clearly. Maybe take 2 more close-ups?

It looks to me like the first row was crocheted incorrectly.

Thanks, Alexander. The problem is that the first rows are blurry in the enlarged view. But I found the mistake.

You’re missing one pair of double crochets in the first row. And the error carries through every row.

Thanks for the answers. I don't understand the mistake, though, because I have 4 pairs in the first row, 6 pairs in the second, 8 pairs in the third, and so on :-(

I think the mistake is right at the beginning with the chain stitches. I would make a magic ring and continue working into the ring
... then pull the ring slightly.
That way, it turns out nice and even :)
