Hi,

I finished the custom teddy bear yesterday using some unloved fluffy yarn that had been sitting in my closet for
years.

Now I’m not sure what to work on next.

The options are:

a batwing sweater for me
Easter baskets to give away
a vest for me

Somehow I’m in a crochet slump right now.

First I’m going to finish knitting my socks, then I’ll start working with the Bobbel cakes that jumped into my bag while I was shopping today. Two wonderful colors, one with a blue base and one with a reddish-brown base—they’re going to become shawls.

Yesterday I played around with a few ideas for what to put on my needles next. Definitely something small—I’m not in the mood for big projects right now.

Today I finally decided on a knitted teddy bear sweater—with raglan sleeves worked from the top and a button placket on the side. It’s sure to be totally cute. 

And for my second project, I’ll be breaking out the crochet hook. I’ll be working on a new idea with it and seeing what comes of it. It’ll definitely be something that fits in an Easter basket—but also works well all year round. I won’t reveal any more than that just yet. ;-)

I’m still working on the gift for my grandson (he asked for a Yoshi) and on my scarf. Somehow I’m swamped with work right now, and I really miss my afternoons spent crafting. I’m making very slow progress. Unfortunately.

So right now, it’s mostly slow and tired little helpers at work here. 

I haven’t gotten around to crocheting yet either. But now I’m getting started.:-)

I’ve been working on my summer skirt since yesterday, and just for a change of pace, I’m knitting a row on my lace scarf every now and then. Both are coming along quickly; tomorrow afternoon I want to start on the crocheted train so it’ll be finished in good time in April.
