Sewing instructions & pattern day nursery bag “LOTTA”

This pattern for a day nursery bag contains two sizes as well as two variations. The smaller bag is suitable for kindergarten kids, the bigger variation even for teenagers. You can easily “pimp” your bag with great embroidered images, patches and laces. One of our illustrations show you an example. There is no limit to your creativity!

Size 1: 22 cm (8.67 inches) width x 17 cm (6.7 inches) height  x 6 cm (2.4 inches) depth

Size 2: 25 cm (9.8 inches) width x 22 cm (8.7 inches) height x 10 cm (3.9 inches) depth.

Once you have sewn the bag you will understand the principle and can easily change the pattern (e.g. size, length etc) if you like.

What we provide you with:

– two patterns for two different bag sizes.

– IMPORTANT: the patterns will be provided in Din A4 format and US Letter format giving you the possibility to decide, which format you prefer! So please don´t be surprised, why we are sending you several PDFs.

– illustrated and detailed sewing instructions explaining everything step by step.

– No “talk shop” but simple explanations

– the instructions and pattern are sent to your email address via a download link. You can download the pattern as a PDF  within 14 days and save it. You always print on either DinA4 or US Letter, depending on which country you are from.

– PDF file to store and print out. How to print the files: please look at “printing patterns”. We also have a YouTube video explaining the print out. Please see below.

Required material:

Material required: 50 cm (19.7 inches) material with 1,40 metres (1.53 yds.) width per bag

Depending on the fabric 50 cm (19.7 inches) volume fleece

Size 1: webbing / handholds: 71 cm / 28 inches

Size 2: webbing / handholds: 90 cm / 35.5 inches

(We have sewn the bag from wool felt and skipped the volume fleece. The bag is stable but still not too stiff. In case you process 2 cotton fabrics you should iron in volume fleece to give the bag stability).
