• skpo – Slip, Knit, Pass Over: Slip one stitch to the right needle knitwise, knit in

Head circumference: 53-58 cm (21-22”)

Gauge:
15-16 stitches = 4 inches in stockinette

Needles:
Double-pointed or circular knitting needles 4 mm (US 6 /UK 8). If you find yourself as a tight knitter switch for 4.5 mm (US 7 /UK 7) for the main part. Use a bigger needles size if you want to get a bigger hat size.

Yarn:
Knit Picks, Simply Wool - 100% Eco Wool. Color #: OC, 100 grams -193 yards per skein. Optionally add long mink wool yarn (lace), just to make the hat even warmer.
Weight Category – 5. Quantity: 115-120 grams. If you have difficulty finding the aforementioned brand of yarn, use something else that will have about 100 m (110 yards) per 100 grams skein.
