LovePrints Monkey Blanket Overlay Mosaic Crochet Pattern and Charts

US crochet terms are used in this pattern.

You can also download the same chart on a Excel sheet if you prefer and use them on your Excel program or Google Sheets. You can follow the grid chart and/or written instructions or use both.

If you have never done the Overlay Mosaic Crochet technique my best suggestion would be that you watch a couple tutorials, you will find it is pretty easy to do.
This pattern would be intermediate experience.

The Chart:
I use x on the chart, it and the written instructions have the US crochet terms

Approximate Size: 50” by 58”

Chart Size: 185 columns, and 205 rows for the full pattern

Supplies Needed:
Size G (4.25 mm) Crochet Hook
Worsted Weight Yarn Size 4 medium.
Color A: Background color -Red Heart Super Saver Jumbo - White - Or your favorite color choice- 2 skeins
Color B: Design color - Red Heart Super Saver Jumbo - Brown - Or your favorite color choice - 2 skeins
Border Yarn: Brown
If you would like to add some extra color, the bananas can be done in Red Heart Yellow And Hearts can be done in Red Heart - Pink or Red.
These colors are just suggestions, you can make your monkey blanket in your favorite color choices. You will need at least 2 colors.
