    I have just purchased this pattern and not sure what thickness of yarn to use. The
    pattern says Wicker Wool. I've never heard of Wicker wool. I live in the Uk so what is the equivalent please?

      Hello. Yes you can crochet the Coat in a larger size. To do this, you need to convert size L to XL, for example. You can do this with your stitch test and you need the measurements for your size. Greetings Andrea

    On a positive note, the pictures are helpful. The PDF version comes with lots of pictures. This is good, especially given the fact that the pattern is, I think, a translation from German to English. Some parts of the pattern are not very clearly written, and at one point, it tells you that there are videos on u-tube showing certain techniques. Given the price of the pattern, this is ok, and there are diagrams to help with placement of the pattern pieces. At first, I was very disappointed in this pattern, but given time to think about it, I'd say it's ok - it's going to be challenging to figure parts of it out due to translation between languages, but not impossible thanks to all the included pictures.
