A toy can be made of different types of yarn, but it is important to choose the appropriate ratio of thickness of yarn and hook size:

• yarn thickness ratio should be 2:1 (yarn for the body should be twice as thick as yarn for the eyes);
• hook for the eyes should be 1.5 mm smaller than for the body (for example, 3.5 mm-2 mm, 3.75 mm-2.25 mm, 4 mm-2.5 mm).

In this crochet pattern I made a toy of YarnArt Dolce, using 3.75 mm hook for plush yarn and 2.25 mm hook for semi-cotton yarn.

plush yarn (120 m/100 gr.) (131 yds/3,5 oz) (Himalaya Dolphin Baby, YarnArt Dolce, etc.) (main color consumption is less than a ball, other colors – less than a half of a ball):

• white/ivory (main color);
