A toy can be made of different types of yarn, but it is important to choose the appropriate ratio of thickness of yarn and hook size.

⭐ The Hippo size ~ 22 cm / 8,6 inch

To crochet the toy Hippo, you will need:

1. Yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby (120 meters / 100 grams):

• № 306 Blue – 1.5 skeins
• № 301 White – a small amount for arms and legs

2. Yarn GAZZAL Baby Cotton (50 meters / 165 grams):

• № 3417 Yellow - 1 skeins

3. 4 mm and 2 mm crochet hooks
4. 3 mm double pointed knitting needles
5. Stuffing material (hollowfiber or polyfil)
6. 12 mm plastic safety eyes
7. Scissors & Large eye sewing needle

I use the HiMALAYA Dolphin baby Yarn for making the stuffed toys. Plush or velvet yarn of any other brand will also be perfect.
