Beehive Pincushion- Crochet Pattern

• MR: magic ring
• ch: chain
• st: stitch
• sl st: slip stitch
• sc: single crochet
• hdc: half double crochet
• hdc inc: half double crochet increase
• dc: double crochet
• dc inc: double crochet increase
• inc: increase
• dec: decrease
• BLO: back loop only

Beehive is 3“ tall.
(When using a C hook (2.75mm) and worsted yarn)
You can use any size yarn and hook to change the size.

Materials:
• Yarn: Yarn: Any medium/worsted weight cotton yarn of your choice: Yellow, Green, Brown, Black, White, Cream, Pink, Orange, Blue
• I used: Knit Picks Dishie Solid (Bumble Bee, Jalapeno, Coffee, Black, White, Swan, Conch, Clementine, & Mint)
• Black thread (for embroidering the bee’s eyes)
• 2.75mm hook (C)
• Stitch marker
• Tapestry needle
• Optional: Circle of Cardboard or plastic canvas (to support bottom of beehive)
