The pattern is written in English, using American crochet terminology, and includes US/UK conversion charts for both stitches and hook sizes.
It is full of hints, tips and photos that help you along the way.
For beginners instructions of basic crochet stitches are provided.

The body and head are crocheted in one piece starting from the feet up to the head. Only arms, ears and muzzle are sewed on.

Difficulty Level: advanced beginner.
Skills required are sl st, sc, hdc, rsc, color change and increase/decrease sts.

Finished Size: if done with Fingering / 4 ply yarn, 2.5mm hook, it is 20 cm (7.8”) high w/o ears and 9cm (3.5”) wide. This may vary depending on the yarn and hook size you decide to use.

Cotton Fingering / 4 ply (14 wpi). Usage based on 1 Ball = 50g/1.75oz - 155m/170y.
Panda: approx. 32g (1.1oz) ivory and approx. 20g (0.7oz) blue
Nose: small quantity of black
Bag: approx. 10g (0.4oz) brown and small quantity of green
Scarf: approx. 6g (0.2oz) pink
15mm safety eyes

Fiberfill
2.5mm crochet hook (US B/1 – C/2)
