The main part of the tea cosy is the body of the gnome which you can hardly see for frosty looking hair. He has a big red hat flopped on his head so that only his big potato shaped nose is peeping out. He's wearing red wellingtons and red mittens and he's holding a Christmas star.

The hat has a lovely Fair Isle design on it of snowflakes, giving a wintery feel. The stars are knitted using short rows.
