Petunia, the sweet crochet flower

You can give the sweet petunia as a gift or use it as a decoration.
The pattern is written in great detail on 16 pages, many pictures help you with the production.

To make the figure you have to be able to crochet:

• single crochet (sc)
• decrease, increase
• slip stitch (slst)
• reverse single crochet (rev sc)
• treble crochet (tr)
• double crochet (dc)
• half double crochet (hdc)

Petunia is about 20 cm

To crochet the flower you need:

• crochet hook 2-3 mm (according to your yarn)
• yarn, I used the “Catania” from Schachenmayr (50g/125m)
• The finished figure is about 20 cm high.
• Of course, you can also use other yarns, but this changes the size of the figure.

For crocheting you need:

• different coloured leftovers in your favourite colours
• I used: nature for the flower pot, red for the heart application, brown for the soil, light green for the stem and the leaves, light pink for the head of the blossom, pink and yellow for the blossoms on the upper edge

Additionally are required:

• black sewing thread to embroider the mouth, the eyebrows and the eyelashes (sewing thread taken 4x)
• little beads/ lentil beads/ safety eyes (about 12 mm)
• fiberfill
• small pebbles to weigh down the flower pot
• a piece of cardboard to stabilize the bottom of the flower pot
• an old knitting hook or handicraft wire to stabilize the stem

If you use other yarn, you possibly have to adapt the quantity of your yarn.

• a darning needle for sewing
• scissors
• sewing thread in a corresponding colour, to embroider the eyes and the applications
• beads and sequins as decoration
