This great little crossbody bag is crocheted with just two motifs of bursting popcorn stitches, one for the front and one for the back. The motifs are crocheted together with a gusset and finished with a top edging, a button and strap.

Size: Approximately 9 1/2" by 9 1/2" with a 2 1/2" gusset.

Materials: Yarn: The bag shown in the photograph is crocheted in "Heartland" (a worsted weight or size 4 yarn) from Lion Brand Yarns. Since gauge is not crucial on this design, you can use almost any worsted weight or size 4 yarn. You will need approximately 425 yards to complete the project.
Tools: U.S. sizes H and J crochet hooks.
