Materials: Yarn: You will need approximately 1200 yards of almost any worsted weight or size 4 yarn. The blanket shown in the photo is crocheted in Encore (a worsted weight or size 4 yarn) from Plymouth Yarns.
Tools: U.S. size I crochet hook.

I really wanted the pattern to make a crochet waistcoat for myself like the one I made for myself when i was about 29 years old which is a long time ago now. I'm 79 yrs old now
Not an easy pattern to follow (I ended up sewing each flower together separately as I couldn't get the hang of the joining. It still turned out well though.
