Peter Rabbit Crochet Toy

Peter the Bunny Rabbit toy made in crochet, carrying his carrots
This is a CROCHET pattern is quick and easy to make as basic stitches and knowledge required
With the clear written instructions comes lots of close up photos to cross reference instructions, if you need them

WHAT YOU NEED (The sample shown was made using Stylecraft Chunky and Stylecraft Special DK)
– YARN: 50g Chunky BEIGE= Body / LIGHT BLUE=Jacket / DARK BROWN =shoes
– Small amount of DK: Carrot=ORANGE / Carrot leaves=GREEN / Inner Ear & Nose=PINK / Facial features=DARK BROWN
– Small amount of Off-white shaggy “mock fur” yarn for tail

– CROCHET HOOK: 4mm (US: 6 / UK: 8)
– Yarn Needle
– Toy stuffing (Preferably the polyester small round ball type)
– Scissors
– 2x 4mm black glass beads for eyes
– 4 x 5mm white or gold buttons

TENSION/GAUGE: Gauge is not necessary as it does not matter what yarn or hook you use it will come out in balance, just one word of advice, I use a smaller size hook than normal when working toys, especially the body, so that stuffing does not show through & the toy shapes better

FINISHED TOY : Using the above yarn it measured from top of head to bottom (standing), approximately: 25cm(10ins) high
